So I've done it again. Lost my time for writing to other things that seem to come up. My novella that is done with the second edit now needs a final edit before I send it to publishers. It sits, waiting. I keep saying that I'll put other things aside tomorrow and start on the final edit but then things just keep popping up.
Now I wonder how other writers find the time to write in today's busy world where some of us have to work and can't just do writing. Is there a set "me" time that you do it or do you just sit and write even if you only have 15 minutes to spare? Do you stay up late and write right before bed?
I have fibromyalgia so that is a bit of a drain but I try not to let it get in the way of life. It does reduce my writing time though as I need to write when my mind is fresh.
I would love to hear from other writers as to how they find writing time if they have a job, family, and other things that must be done before writing. For me, I need to sit down and figure out a schedule for writing as it seems this will be the only way I get to do what I love to do.
